I have multiple x-rays / ultrasounds / scans, do I need to bring them?

Bring all recent and relevant scans and documents. Most important with these scans and documents is the radiologist report.

I have multiple problems, what do I do?

In your initial consult discuss with your clinician regarding all of these and they will help you with a long term plan. Sometimes there is not enough time to cover all areas and you may need another consultation for another area of the body.

Do I need a GP referral to come?

No you don’t. Physiotherapists are primary care providers.

What do I wear to my appointment?

Depending on the nature of your injury / problem undressing to expose the area may be necessary. It is preferred that you wear loose, comfortable clothing.

How much will my private health give me back for a consultation?

Depending on your level of cover and health fund will depend on the amount you receive. Northside Physio has no control on the rebate system, it is your responsibility to contact your health care fund.

Will I be charged if I cancel my appointment?

It is important to attend your appointments scheduled by your physiotherapist to maximise the effectiveness of treatment. We understand life happens – sick kids, unexpected meetings, or car trouble. We appreciate 8 hours notice if you wish to reschedule your appointment. A cancellation fee is at the discretion of the clinician and management of $25.
